The Mufti of Tuzla, Vahid Effendi Fazlović accompanied by the secretary of the Mufti’s Office Muhamed Hasanspahić paid a visit to the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
The esteemed guests received director Prof. Dr. Vahid Jusufović with his associates. The main focus of the meeting was the current epidemiological situation regarding COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
On the occasion director of Clinical Center Tuzla Prof. Dr. Vahid Jusufović expressed his deepest gratitude for the moral and material support the Mufti Fazlović and the Islamic Community have provided for the University Clinical Center Tuzla. Our director said that today’s visit is a sign that there are institutions such as the Islamic Community, which value the commitment of health care professionals during this challenging time.
“Today’s visit to COVID hospitals and the Respiratory Center which forms the backbone of COVID- 19 patients management system will surely leave a positive mark and good example on other segments of our community to pay closer attention to health system and the University Clinical Center Tuzla that going through very difficult moments. I must say that we have a satisfactory space capacity, and even though the visible work fatigue on our employees, there is no lack of morale or enthusiasm.” said Prof. Dr. Jusufović.
Mufti Fazlović thanked the team management of the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the health workers who make maximum efforts in ensuring appropriate health care to citizens, while expressing a desire to see fast overcoming of the ongoing epidemiological situation. He also said that the Mufti’s Office is going to provide support and assistance in activities for which the University Clinical Center expresses the need. Mufti Fazlović in his speech emphasized the importance of togetherness and unity in difficult time, and called on all socially responsible institutions to join and help the University Clinical Center in the fight against the pandemic caused by the coronavirus.
Today’s meeting also attended medical director Prof. Dr. Šefik Umihanić, director for scientific research and education Prof. Dr. Ervin Alibegović, head of sector for finance Sabina Tanović, and head of sector for legal affairs Ervin Mujkić.
