After a long pause caused by COVID-19 pandemic, a solid organ transplantation program has been launched again in the University Clinical Center Tuzla starting with spousal kidney transplantation.
The operative and postoperative course went uneventful, both the donor and the recipient are hemodinamically stable.
The team members who performed explantation and transplantation surgery make surgeons Dr. Rasim Agić, Ass. Prof. Samed Jagodić, Dr. Zoran Manojlović, assistant Dr. Amel Mujić, scrub nurses Edvin Feukić, Asmir Kamenjaković and Ibro Šehić, anesthesiologist Dr. Jasmina Đug, and anesthetist Nurdin Salkanović.
On that occasion Ass. Prof. Samed Jagodić, head of the Clinic for Urology said that following the epidemiological situation that will dictate further dynamics and number of surgeries the transplantation team of this clinic is planing to continue with transplantation program.
