The University Clinical Center Tuzla, Clinic for Children’s Diseases together with the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics are marking World Prematurity Day today at 11 a.m. by releasing a dozens of balloons in the air. The aim of World Prematurity Day is to raise awareness of the challenges and burden of preterm birth globally. Preterm birth , respectively birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy, is the leading cause of neonatal death in developed and developing countries.
