Yesterday, the representatives of the Center for transplantation medicine, the Federal Ministry of Health were in a working visit to the University Clinical Center Tuzla. The team from the Federal Ministry of Health consisted of Prim.Dr. Lada Sarajlić, director of the Center for transplantation medicine, Dr. Olivera Tadić, expert associate of the Centre for transplantation medicine and Ass. Prof. Safet Omerović, member of the committee for transplantation medicine had a meeting with the director Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić and his closest transplantation medicine associates at the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities for improvement of donor transplant program in our hospital. The aim was to indicate the importance of continuing education for transplant coordination staff, to intensify the work of the commission of the Center for transplantation medicine, and to encourage hospitals to use available resources of mobile teams for transplants.
