The First Symposium of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Bosnia and Herzegovina with international participation started today with a workshop on the theme “Early recognition of mental health issues in children and youth”. This introductory workshop is designed for psychologists, pedagogues and educators in a preschool and school centers, and the esteemed lecturers were Prof.Dr. Klaus Schmeck and Ass. Prof. Susanne Schlüter-Müller from Switzerland.
Autism, attention- deficit hyperactivity disorder, aggressive behavior, anxiety and obsessive- compulsive disorders were topics discussed at the workshop.
The workshop gathered more than 100 participants, and positive reactions confirmed the success of this medical event.
