The Association of doctors in physical medicine and rehabilitation of the Federation B&H and the Association of doctors in physical medicine and rehabilitation of Republika Srpska are organizing the 7th Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of Bosnia and Herzegovina with international participation. This congress will be held in the period 27-30 September, 2018, in the Hotel Mellain.
A press conference on the occasion of this medical event was held today at the Clinic for Physical Medicine, University Clinical Center Tuzla. The president of the organizing committee of the Congress Prof. Dr. Misad Muftić, the president of the local organizing committee Prim. Dr. Emir Halilbegović, and the member of scientific board Ass. Prof. Maida Zonić Imamović spoke with the members of the press about the scientific program and scope of the Congress.
As it was said, this event will be an excellent opportunity for doctors in physical medicine and rehabilitation to expand and exchange knowledge and information on new ideas in the treatment and rehabilitation.
This Congress will cover a wide range of topics: rehabilitation of musculosceletal diseases and injuries, neurological rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation and balneotherapy. The Congress will attract over 200 health professionals working within physical medicine and rehabilitation and 20 sponsors. The scientific program consists of 100 oral and poster presentations and 27 plenary lectures. The congress invites eminent lecturers from France, Italy, Turkey, the USA, countries from the region and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
All accepted abstracts and paperworks will be published in medical journal of the University Clinical Center Tuzla “Acta Medica Saliniana”.
