The School of Ultra Sound in Gynecology and Obstetrics organized by the Association of Gynecologists and Perinatologists of Tuzla Canton, Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Tuzla Canton Medical Chamber will be held on 23 and 24 November in Tuzla. On that occasion a press conference was held yesterday at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics. Prof. Dr. Dženita Ljuca , head of the Clinic and president of the Association of Gynecologists and Perinatologists of Tuzla Canton and Prof. Dr. Zlatan Fatušić, chief of the Department of Gynecology with semi- intensive unit spoke to the media about the upcoming school.
In speaking to the press Prof. Dr. Dženita Ljuca said that this ultrasound school is a two- day project with a full- day scientific program running from 9a.m. to 8 p.m. The participants from the Federation of BiH will have an opportunity to learn about carefully selected clinical cases from twenty two leading experts in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
During the theory part of the school the participants will meet with 13 lecturers, after which they will attend the practical part of the school. This practical training will give participants a unique opportunity to perform a diagnostic ultrasound examination on 80 patients under the supervision of a qualified sonographer.
During the press conference Prof.Dr. Zlatan Fatušić presented the detailed program of the school and said that the participants will learn about the use of ultrasound in pregnancy,ultrasound markers of fetal chromosomal abnormality,ultrasound in reproductive medicine and ultrasound examination of the fetal brain and heart.
