The Clinic for Internal Medicine, University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Tuzla Canton Medical Chamber are hosts of the 6th School of proximal gastrointenstinal endoscopy. The leaders of this diagnostic school are Prof. Dr. Ervin Alibegović and Prof. Dr.. Nermin Salkić.
The program of this year’s school has been developed according to the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy curriculum for one full- time training candidate. During his training, the candidate will learn a theoretical and practical aspects of GI endoscopy. At the end of training he should be able to perform the entire GI endoscopy independently.
On the occasion, head of the Clinic for Internal Medicine, Prof. Dr. Denijal Tulumović commended medical professionals from the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology led by Prof. Dr Ervin Alibegović for unselfish knowledge and experience sharing with a younger colleagues. He also added that the Department’s staff has been engaged in continuing education for many years, and that they have moved the boundaries when it comes to Internal Medicine.
