On Friday, 21 August, Mr. Fatih Yavuz handed over a donation of oxygen delivery device to the University Clinical Center Tuzla. The device allows a high flow oxygen delivery, and it is a first essential step for the treatment of severe respiratory failure caused by corona virus.
On that occasion Prof. dr Vahid Jusufović, director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla thanked for the donation, and said a few things about the importance of a device for oxygen therapy in the management of respiratory failure. The device effectively improves oxygenation, reduces inhalation effort, and increases end- expiratory lung volume in severe respiratory insufficient patients.
