The Director of the Brčko Health Center, Mr. Emir Osmanović, B.Sc. in Economics, recently paid a working visit to the University Clinical Center (UKC) Tuzla. During the meeting with Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić, Director of UKC Tuzla, the primary focus was on enhancing radiotherapy services for patients from the Brčko District.
This visit follows the renewal of the Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions, which enables the Brčko Health Center to refer patients to UKC Tuzla for radiotherapy treatments. The agreement was reaffirmed after the successful installation of a new state-of-the-art radiotherapy system at the Clinic for Oncology and Radiotherapy at UKC Tuzla.
In addition to defining business and technical collaboration, the agreement outlines provisions for the continued education and training of medical staff, as well as joint efforts in organizing professional conferences and scientific events in the field of oncology and radiotherapy.
