Representatives of the University Clinical Center Tuzla participated in a four- day educational program dedicated to the development of management and communication skills, which brought together head nurses and technicians from various healthcare institutions across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through a series of lectures and practical exercises, participants from clinical centers and hospitals, public healthcare institutions, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, private hospitals, and nursing homes worked on strengthening competencies that are essential for effective daily work and successful leadership of healthcare teams.
The program focused on improving communication within multidisciplinary teams, enhancing collaboration, and developing leadership and management skills necessary for the efficient organization and delivery of healthcare services.
During the educational program, special emphasis was placed on the importance of effective communication within the healthcare system, the development of teamwork, the improvement of presentation skills, and the strengthening of internal communication. Participants also discussed strategies for building and enhancing the positive public perception of healthcare institutions.
“Such training programs are extremely important because they provide us with the opportunity to further develop managerial and communication skills that are essential in our daily work with patients and colleagues. The exchange of experiences with colleagues from different healthcare institutions contributes to improving the quality of our work, strengthening professional standards within the healthcare system, and fostering stronger networking among healthcare professionals,” said Amer Turkić, graduated technician, who participated in the training on behalf of the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
