The 67th Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnostics Course is being held at the University Clinical Center Tuzla (the UKC Tuzla) from April 1 to 28, 2026.
The course is jointly organized by the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Medical Chamber of Tuzla Canton.
Ten participants from various healthcare institutions across Bosnia and Herzegovina are attending the course, which aims to enhance the quality of ultrasonography through continuous medical education and to support the professional development of physicians.
The course is led by Prof. Dr. Ervin Alibegović, Assistant Director for Teaching and Scientific Research at UKC Tuzla.
The program features lectures delivered by experienced physicians from UKC Tuzla, as well as guest experts from the region, all with extensive expertise in ultrasonography.
“It is a particular honor and privilege to host the pioneers of ultrasonography in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These distinguished experts and academics have been working with ultrasound technology since its early days. Over the course of four weeks, participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of abdominal organ examination, including ultrasound anatomy and the morphological presentation of pathological changes,” emphasized Prof. Alibegović.
