At its session held today, the Government of Tuzla Canton adopted the Report of the Public Health Institution University Clinical Center Tuzla on the earmarked use of funds, confirming that substantial budget resources were allocated last year to strengthen the institution’s diagnostic capacities.
According to the report, a total of 26,184,600 KM was allocated in 2025 to finance the investment program of UKC Tuzla, primarily for the procurement of advanced medical equipment.
These investments include a 3 Tesla MRI system valued at nearly 5.8 million KM, an angiography suite worth more than 3.7 million KM, a digital mammography unit valued at almost 1 million KM, as well as several modern X- ray devices. Among them are C- arm systems, with a total value exceeding 1 million KM, enabling physicians to accurately record and monitor procedures in real time.
All of the acquired equipment has been installed at the Clinic for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, significantly improving the conditions for timely, precise, and high-quality diagnostics for patients across Tuzla Canton.
By adopting this report, the Government of Tuzla Canton once again reaffirms its strong commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and strengthening the public health system through continuous and strategic investments.
