Prof. Dr. Dragan Piljić has won “Creators for the Centuries”award for the highest standards of medical professionalism. The award recognizes the Piljic- method in surgical treatment of the abdominal aorta and pelvic arteries that Prof. Piljić recently developed.
The award to Prof. Dr. Piljić presented International Economic Forum following the Decision of the International Award Committee for contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Central and Southeastern Europe. In released statement, the organizer explained that this award draws the public attention to entrepreneurs who contribute to the development and better future of the whole community through their work, knowledge and creativity.
A four- year research led to the Piljic- method being introduced in the University Clinical Center Tuzla, and the results were published in American, German and Japanese high impact journals.
