Today, the University Clinical Center Tuzla finished with third, a COVID-19 booster vaccination process. The booster dose the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine received 1133 employees of Clinical Center Tuzla.
Prof. Dr. Šefik Hasukić, the immunization coordinator said that the booster dose received employees who had received their second dose at least six months ago. Prof. Hasukić also said that the organization and delivery of vaccination went well.
On the occasion, vaccination team member Anes Hadžiefendić explained that a COVID-19 booster dose is especially recommended for health professionals whose work puts them at high risk of infection as immunity gained from previous vaccines reduces over time.
