On May 12th, on the occasion of International Nurses Day 2022, the head technician of the University Clinical Center Tuzla MSci. Šefik Husić, graduated technician and a healthcare manager organized a special ceremonial meeting with the head nurses/technicians, and engineers of diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostics.
Throughout his welcome speech, the head technician Husić highlighted the importance and role of nurses/technicians as the largest group of healthcare professionals who made the immeasurable contributions in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. As he said, the circumstances and conditions we encountered during the pandemic had a significant impact on public awareness around the crucial role that nurses/technician play in improving the health of population.
During the meeting with his colleagues, he presented the goals and plans for the upcoming period and share some expectations, ideas and recommendations for healthcare outcome improvement.
At the end of his presentation, he expressed his appreciation to the present colleagues for their active cooperation and congratulated International Nurses Day 2022 to all.
The theme for the 2022 resource is Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health.
