Interventional Cardiology Unit

Invasive Cardiology Diagnostics:

• Left and right heart catheterization

• Coronary angiography

Invasive Cardiology Treatment:

• Treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction using emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (primary PCI) with stent implantation (available 24 hours a day). More than 350 STEMI patients are treated annually with primary PCI.

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with stent implantation or balloon dilatation

Percutaneous interventions for structural heart disease:

• Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)

• Balloon aortic valvuloplasty (BAV)

• Balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty

Department of Cardiac Electrostimulation and Electrophysiology

• Implantation of temporary pacemakers

• Implantation of permanent cardiac pacemakers (single-chamber and dual-chamber) in patients with cardiac rhythm disorders

• Implantation of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) in patients at increased risk of sudden cardiac death

• Implantation of CRT-D (cardiac resynchronization therapy device) in patients with severe forms of heart failure

Department of Endovascular Angiology

• Endovascular treatment of peripheral arteries with stent implantation or balloon dilatation

• Endovascular treatment of subclavian artery stenosis with stent implantation or balloon dilatation
