Organized by the Society of cardiologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 9th Congress of Cardiologists with international participation was held 13- 16 October, 2022 in Sarajevo. The three- day congress scientific program took place in four halls and offered the trending themes in the field of cardiology cardiology through 40 sessions and 8 satellite educational symposia.
Active participation at Congress have announced 30 domestic and 45 invited lecturers from 12 European countries, 2 Asian countries and the USA.
The president of the organizing and scientific committee and the president of the Society of cardiologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina Prof. Dr. Zumreta Kušljugić delivered a good welcome and opening speech of the 9th Congress.
“After four years we are holding once again, the largest scientific event in the field of cardiology in our country. As organizers, we have created the Congress program that covers not only up- to -date scientific content but also it will be an opportunity for participants to socialize and interact with friends and colleagues. During the Congress, participants will learn about the latest ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines. The presented latest guidelines have been developed and supported by the eminent experts from the Society of cardiologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is to empower education and knowledge of cardiologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that’s why we made an effort to create a unique and attractive Congress program with enhanced cardiology- oriented clinical information.
