A year ago, an idea of improving the treatment conditions of oncology patients in the Outpatient clinic of the Clinic for Oncology and Radiotherapy University Clinical Center Tuzla came up from our management team and the Associations of oncology patients suffering from breast cancer.
As a result of all that, the assistant director for nursing Šefik Husić, MSci, launched an initiative towards Deling Invest company for the reconstruction and adaptation of the premises of the Outpatient clinic of the Clinic for Oncology and Radiotherapy.
On 10 November ,2023, a meeting was held with the director of the Deling invest company, Edin Delalić, graduated economist and the technical director of Deling invest, Armin Kapetanović, a building engineer, and Amila Žunić, architect. The representatives were hosted by the assistant director for nursing, Šefik Husić, M.Sci. and Acting Head of the Clinic for Oncology and Radiotherapy, Prof.Dr. Šefika Umihanić. During the conversation, representatives of Deling Invest expressed their desire to, together with their subcontractors, reconstruct and adapt the premises of the Outpatient clinic in order to improve the conditions for the treatment of oncology and hematology patients.
On this occasion, the director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Prof.Dr. Denijal Tulumović, assistant director for nursing, Šefik Husić, and Acting Head of the Clinic for Oncology and Radiotherapy, Prof.Dr. Šefika Umihanić expressed their gratitude to the representatives of the company Deling Invest who recognized the importance of the project and provided support in its implementation. The implentation of project will start d within a period of 15 days. The company Deling Invest, as a socially responsible company, has for many years been participating in humanitarian actions that have resulted in the improvement of the quality of health services and treatment in the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
