The University Clinical Centre Tuzla has recently purchased a new ultrasound machine for its Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Through the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Government of the Republic of Poland donated funds to purchase the ultrasound machine. The University Clinical Centre Tuzla provided part of the necessary funds.
On the occasion medical director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Assoc. Prof. Igor Hudić said that this ultrasound machine is of the latest imaging technologies with 3D and 4D probes, which will primarily be used for examining the brain structure in newborns and in cases of high- risk pregnancies.
As Dr. Hudić explained, this machine has outstanding imaging modalities that will address the diverse needs in everyday clinical medicine and practice.
