The Department for Nephrology, Hemodyalisis and Transplantation, Clinic for Internal Medicine, University Clinical Center Tuzla received a valuable donation on 23 November, 2023. It is a new dialysis machine purchased as part of the project “Procurement of hemodialysis machines for the needs of dialysis centers and hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. Within this project, 150 000 BAM is provided by the Al- Najat Charity, the State of Kuwait.
During the occasion medical director Assoc. Prof. Igor Hudić expressed his gratitude for the donated hemodyalisis machine that will improve the quality of dialysis treatment. “We are thankful for this donation since patients with kidney failure need dialysis for survival.”
The hospital management on behalf of all employees and patients extends deepest gratitude to the Al- Najat Charity from Kuwait, which previously also donated hemodyalisis machines through the Waqf’s Directorate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
