In the framework of continuous medical education, the Cardiac Ultrasound Course at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, which started on 29 January 2024 and lasted for one month, has been completed today.
This year’s Course organizers were the Sector for education, science and research in cooperation with the Tuzla Canton Medical Chamber.
Under the expert supervision nine participants had a chance to learn about the current knowledge on ultrasound assessments. The course participant gained the theoretical knowledge necessary to efficiently use cardiac ultrasound equipment for routine clinical work, and to interpret ultrasound independently in our institution.
Expert educators in this medical field were for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
The leader of the course was Dr. Elnur Smajić, MSci., specialist in internal medicine and chief of the Department for Cardiology, Clinic for Internal Medicine, University Clinical Center Tuzla.
Participants received a certificate of successful completion of the one- month course in ultrasound diagnostics of the heart, which included both theoretical and practical parts.
