The 10th Meeting on Neurology in Tuzla, dedicated to Mostar and Neurology practice in Mostar will be held on 12 December, 2015 , in Dramar Center Tuzla, under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Meetings organizers are the UKC Tuzla Clinic of Neurology, the Association of Neurologists of the Tuzla Canton and Medical faculty, University of Tuzla. On this occasion, a press conference was held today at the Clinic of Neurology.
At the press conference the audience was addressed by Prof. Dr. Osman Sinanović, head of the Clinic of Neurology and president of the organizing committee, Ass. Prof. Mirjana Vidović and head nurse Alma Vuleta.
Professor Sinanović pointed out that this Meeting will be a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge, but also a chance to exchange information on new approaches in diagnosis and treatment.
The audience was then addressed by Ass. Prof. Mirjana Vidović who spoke about the scientific program of upcoming event. The lectures will discuss epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis and pharmacotherapy in the treatment of neurological patients. She also announced esteemed speakers from the Clinic of Psychiatry, University Clinical Hospital Mostar, Department of Neurology, Cantonal Hospital “Dr. Safet Mujić” and eminent experts in the field of Neurology from Zagreb.
Alma Vuleta, while addressing the press conference, said that this event will be of great importance for professional development and progress in the neurologcal nursing care. The press conference was also an opportunity to draw public attention to the stroke and multiple sclerosis incidence, but also to the stigma of epilepsy.
