A working meeting was held at the University Clinical Center Tuzla between the Director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla (UKC Tuzla) Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić, and the Director of the Cantonal Hospital “Dr. Safet Mujić” from Mostar, Prim. Dr. Lamija Duranović. This meeting marked a continuation of the long-standing, highly successful professional and educational cooperation between the two healthcare institutions. During the meeting, numerous proposals for future joint activities were discussed, and concrete guidelines for their implementation were established, all with the aim of enhancing the quality of healthcare services and supporting the professional development of medical staff.

During her visit to UKC Tuzla, Director Duranović, a specialist in neuropsychiatry, also participated in the 16th Tuzla Neurological Meetings, organized by the Clinic of Neurology at UKC Tuzla. Her participation further reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to continuous professional development and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
