Two invited lecturers from Tuzla at the 2nd European Congress of Young Ophthalmologists

The 2nd European Congress of Young Ophthalmologist was held in the period 23-24 June 2016 in Spain. At this prestigious event, as an invited speakers two young ophthalmologists from Tuzla represented Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dr. Zlatko Mušanović, in a session dedicated to the cataract, gave a lecture on “Trics in complicated cataract surgery”. Dr. Amra Nadarević Vodeničarević, in a session focused on glaucoma, had a lecture on “Preoperative pharmacological management in patients with cataract and glaucoma. An interesting fact is that the Congress attended more than 600 participants from all over Europe. Out of the 33 invited lectures being planned by the Congress program, 6 invited lectures were given to young ophthalmologists from countries of the former Yugoslavia.
The Congress was held under the auspices of the European Society of Ophthalmology SOE. The opening ceremony attended the JCE’s representatives Prof. Jan Tjeerd De Faber, the Society president and Prof. Marko Hawlina. The next European Congress of young ophthalmologists will be held in two years in Poland, Krakow.
