This year the University Clinical Center Tuzla- Clinic for cardiovascular diseases will join the celebration of World Heart Day 2016. World Heart Day on 29 September is the World Federation’s biggest platform for raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases.
Nurses and doctors from the Clinic for cardiovascular diseases are organizing a public meeting with patients on Thursday, 29 September from 10 to 12 a.m., in front of Baroque building (at the Liberty Square).
Ass. Prof. Elmir Jahić, head of the Clinic for cardiovascular diseases will address the media around 11 a.m.
Cardiovascular diseases continue to be the leading cause of death in our country and in the world. Many risk factors associated with coronary heart disease can be controlled and prevented. Therefore, the aim of this action is the promotion of a healthy diet and life style.
