The 43 School of abdominal ultrasound has started in the University Clinical Center Tuzla. In the next thirty days eight participants of the school will attend an intensive training program that consist both theory and practical training.
According to Prof.dr. Senaid Trnačević, leader of the school, this training program includes introduction to theoretical background prior to practical part of describing findings based on ultrasound images and ultrasound examination of patients.
Prof. dr. Enver Zerem, director for scientific research, addressed the participants and said that ultrasound imaging has many uses in medicine, and all medical doctors should be qualified to perform an ultrasound. ” It is impossible to imagine the practice of modern medicine without the use of ultrasound.” said Prof. dr. Zerem.
Up to date, the school of ultrasound which started in 1997 has completed 430 participants. Organizers of the school are the Tuzla Canton Medical Chamber and University Clinical Center Tuzla.
