On 1 December 2016, the transplant team of the University Clinical Center Tuzla in cooperation with colleagues from the University Clinical Center Sarajevo carried out multiviscelar explantation of the liver, two kidneys and two corneas prior to organ transplant program.
A multidisciplinary team of the University Clinical Center Tuzla has transplanted liver and one kidney, while the other kidney and corneas received patients in Sarajevo.
Recipient surgery of liver and kidney was uneventful and without postoperative complications.
