The Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton visits Clinical Center Tuzla

A working meeting between the representatives of the Tuzla Canton Government and the management team of the University Clinical Center Tuzla was held yesterday. The meeting attended Bego Gutić, the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Minister of health Bahrudin Hadžiefendić, Minister of finance Jakub Suljkanović, Minister of education, science, culture and sport Zlatan Muratović, director of Clinical Center Tuzla Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić, medical director Prof. Dr. Fahrija Skokić, director of Sector for financial affairs Sabina Tanović economics graduate, director of Sector for law affairs Ervin Mujkić, law graduate and head technician Mirza Jahić.
The following issues were discussed in the meeting: hospital activities and accomplishments, new diagnostic and interventional procedures, procurement of material and resources, the provision of tertiary health care for the returnees in the Republic of Srpska and strategic planning.

At the opening of the meeting, Ass. Prof. Hotić said that the University Clinical Center Tuzla has increased the number of new procedures, the number of surgeries for inpatients and outpatients, as well as the number of health care services during the 2016. ” During the past year we have managed to improve our working results and therefore to improve our competitiveness on the market” he said.

The Premier of Tuzla Canton Bego Gutić said that as reported by annual financial report, the University Clinical Center Tuzla for the first time in the past ten years has positive financial results and reduces the debt to suppliers for 2.000.000 BAM. The Prime Minister also announced the construction of new Emergency Center.
