BH Telecom donates 167.500 BAM to Clinical Center Tuzla

Today, the University Clinical Center Tuzla has received a valuable donation of 167.500 BAM from BH Telecom. The grant funds will be spent for the renewal of existing and purchasing of new equipment.
On the occasion director of Clinical Center Tuzla Ass. Prof. Nešad Hotić said that the money will be spent on neurology equipment and devices purchasing, that will contribute improving diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis. He also said that the portion of funds is to be spent for purchasing of operating room table at the Clinic for Children’s Diseases.

Mr. Fuad Čibukčić, president of the Supervisory Board BH Telecom expressed his satisfaction with the company’s engagement activities to corporate social responsibility. ” BH Telecom is a leader in the telecommunications market in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Clinical Center Tuzla is also being recognized as a leader in providing health care service delivery to citizens, thus our satisfaction is greater when we know that the University Clinical Center Tuzla received the biggest portion of grant award.

The Minister of Health of the Tuzla Canton Government Dr Bahrudin Hadžiefendić also expressed his gratitude to BH Telecom:” On behalf of the Prime Minister and the Government of Tuzla Canton, I would like to use this opportunity to thank to BH Telecom and to express my sincere wishes for further mutual project of BH Telecom as a social responsible company and the Government as the executive and legislative authority.

The University Clinical Center Tuzla and Health Center Brčko are two out of 32 institutions that met all funding criteria for the grant award issued by BH Telecom during the last year.
