The Clinic for Psychiatry is consisted of six departments with 70 hospital beds, an outpatient clinic for adults, outpatient pediatric clinic and outpatient adolescent clinic, two specialist consultation and 14 cabinets with 66 employees: 15 doctors specialists (7 subspecialists), 4 doctors on residency, 7 graduated nurses/ technicians, 2 nurses/ technicians with higher nursing school and 28nurses/ technicians, 1 graduated in psychology, 1 pedagogue psychologist, 2 defectologists, 2 non- medical workers, and 3 assistants to health professionals.

CENTER FOR MEDICAL ADDICTION PREVENTION

  • Opiate substitution therapy of opiate addicts and their family members in the role of partners in Suboxone therapy

  • Control of urine, control of psychophysical condition during abstinence, prescription of Suboxone for continuous monitoring and treatment with this method

  • Social and psychological rehabilitation during substitution therapy with the tendency of complete reintegration into society

  • Diagnosing dual diagnoses, hepatitis B and C viruses, as well as HIV infection and treating dual diagnoses with adequate psychopharmacotherapy in cooperation with the Clinic for Infectious Diseases

  • Rehabilitation of patients discharged from hospital treatment with the aim of stabilizing the condition and more complete resocialization and reintegration

DEPARTMENT FOR PEDIATRIC AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY– the department is in the process of renovation and reconstruction

  • Diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of pediatric and adolescent outpatients with affective symptoms, anxiety and stress- related symptoms, somatoform disorders, personality and behavioral disorders. There is possibility of parental accompaniment and presence to the child during staying at the department.

  • Treatment and support for the patients discharged from the hospital for mental health stabilization and the social reintegration

  • Psychiatric- psychologic diagnosis, psychopharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, sociotherapy, and psychosocial rehabilitation of children and adolescents with the mental health needs with the patient staying within the family and familiar social environment.
