HEALTH CARE SERVICES

The Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases highly specialized health care professionals offer services for diagnosis and treatment of the lungs and the respiratory system. Our multidisciplinary team can perform different tests such as bronchoskopy and complete pulmonology and allergology diagnostics. We treat patients with malignant diseases of the respiratory system and pulmonary complications resulting from malignancy. We apply cytostatic drugs for cancer treatment following international recommendations and national chemotherapy administration safety standards.

Polysomnograph device is a diagnostic tool we use for the diagnosis of breathing disorders (sleep apnea as the most common type of sleep- disordered breathing and associated risk factor for the occurrence of a number of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, pulmonary and other diseases). Polysomnography is a non invasive method of measuring vital parameters during sleep (EEG, EOG, EMN, ECG, pulse oximetry, breathing intensity, chest and abdominal wall movements, leg movements etc.).

The Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases has an equipped hospital pharmacy, 94 hospital beds and additional 10 beds in an outpatient clinic for malignant diseases.
