Today, the Clinic for Eye Diseases provides our patients with a wide range of different microsurgical and laser procedures. Our experienced ophtalmic surgeons offer complete lens surgery using the modern method of phacoemulsifacion, corneal transplantation, modern glaucoma surgery and surgery on the posterior segment of the eye in children and adults, retinal ablation surgery and surgery for vitroretinal diseases. Our ophtalmic plastic surgery involves reconstructive and plastic surgery of the tear ducts and eyelids. Our expertise is diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the posterior segment of the eye, medical retina, (primary and secondary), treatment of macular diseases (DME, ARMD, CMO after TVCR, CNV in high myopia) and intravitreal antiVEGF therapy is applied.<\/span> Pediatric department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of low vision and strabismus. After the diagnosis is established, treatment is initiated, either medical or surgical, depending on the patient\u2019s condition, followed by monitoring of disease progression. In the surgical treatment of eye diseases, the staff are trained to successfully perform the healthcare services provided at our Clinic, in accordance with the highest European standards. During the patient\u2019s stay at our Clinic, continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic procedures is carried out.
