{"id":14225,"date":"2023-05-03T13:09:58","date_gmt":"2023-05-03T12:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ukctuzla.ba\/ukctuzla\/?p=14225"},"modified":"2023-05-03T13:09:58","modified_gmt":"2023-05-03T12:09:58","slug":"clinic-for-skin-diseases-preventing-melanoma-skin-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ukctuzla.ba\/ukctuzla\/?p=14225&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Clinic for Skin Diseases preventing melanoma skin cancer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The Clinic for Skin Diseases, University Clinical Center Tuzla joined a pan-European skin cancer prevention campaign and organized free dermatological examinations for our citizens on May 4 and 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The aim of the campaign is to raise public awareness about skin cancer, to promote and share information on skin cancer prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">According to the World Health Organization an estimated 3.5 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed and more than 22.000 people die from melanoma in Europe each year.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The Euromelanoma campaign was started in Belgium in 1999 and spread to 33 countries.
