Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Refik Lendo, visited the University Clinical Center Tuzla today, where he met with Director Prof. Dr. \u0160ekib Umihani\u0107 and members of the institution\u2019s management team.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Director Prof. Dr. Umihani\u0107 expressed his gratitude to Vice President Lendo for his interest in the work of the University Clinical Center Tuzla. He provided an overview of the Center\u2019s organizational structure, key ongoing projects, strategic plans, and recent financial investments.<\/p>\n
Special emphasis was placed on the continuous investment in medical equipment, which\u2014thanks to the support of the Government of Tuzla Canton\u2014has exceeded 50 million convertible marks. The discussions also highlighted the institution\u2019s strong commitment to the professional development and education of healthcare staff, with the goal of ensuring the provision of modern, high-quality healthcare services to patients across Tuzla Canton.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Director Umihani\u0107 also emphasized the importance of resolving the legal and institutional status of the University Clinical Center Tuzla. He highlighted the need to finalize an agreement on the management and ownership rights of the institution\u2014an issue that should be addressed through collaboration between the working groups of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Tuzla Canton.
