With the support of the Government of Tuzla Canton, the Department of Pathology at the Polyclinic for Laboratory Diagnostics of the University Clinical Center Tuzla (UKC Tuzla) has been equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology.<\/p>\n
The new equipment includes advanced microscopes for pathology diagnostics, a specialized workstation for microscopic sampling, an automatic slide counter with coverslip compatibility, a frozen section apparatus, and a modern tissue processor.<\/p>\n
The total value of the investment is approximately 500,000 KM.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe acquisition of a robotic device for staining and matching tissue sections is of exceptional importance, not only because it ensures high-quality sample staining, but also because it eliminates all harmful emissions in the workroom. This device is one of five recently procured. Alongside the modernization of equipment, efforts are also underway to adapt the premises of the Polyclinic for Laboratory Diagnostics, which will further support the standardization and improvement of diagnostic services,\u201d said Prof. Dr. Ermina Iljazovi\u0107, Head of the Department of Pathology at the Polyclinic for Laboratory Diagnostics of the University Clinical Center Tuzla.<\/p>\n
The Director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, Prof. Dr. \u0160ekib Umihani\u0107, expressed his gratitude to the Government of Tuzla Canton for its continuous support.<\/p>\n
