Prof. Dr. Azra Jahi\u0107, and the Head Nurse of the Clinic, Sanela Sulji\u0107, a graduate nurse.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Association and the University Clinical Center Tuzla. Particular emphasis was placed on the joint organization of an expert meeting scheduled for the end of March 2026.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">According to Zlatan Planin\u010di\u0107, the \u201cMyeloma in BiH\u201d Association is dedicated to providing support to patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and other rare hematological diseases, as well as to their families across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Association was founded at the end of 2016 and has been actively operating for the past seven years. \u201cThe cooperation between the Association and the Clinic for Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla is already at a very high level, and we aim to further expand it through new joint projects. In this context, we have agreed to co- organize the first professional meeting to be held in Tuzla, which will bring together myeloma patients as well as medical experts from the University Clinical Center Tuzla. We also reached an agreement to ensure a multidisciplinary approach by inviting specialists from various medical fields, who will present their experiences and the latest treatment guidelines for these diseases,\u201d emphasized Planin\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azra Jahi\u0107, Head of the Clinic for Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, also expressed her satisfaction with the meeting, emphasizing that the Clinic remains open to all forms of cooperation with the Myeloma Association in BiH. \u201cIn 2025, 25 new cases of myeloma were registered at the University Clinical Center Tuzla. At present, 95 patients with this disease are being treated at the Clinic for Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. In addition to patients from Tuzla Canton, we also provide care for patients from Posavina Canton and the Br\u010dko District,\u201d said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jahi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The meeting also addressed the launch of the pilot project \u201cWeb Portal- A Doctor When I Need One,\u201d which would actively involve hematologists, internists, psychologists, and nutritionists.
