The 18th ESC Congress of the European Society for Contraception and Reproductive Health was held at the Sava Center in Belgrade from 6 to 9 May 2026.<\/p>\n
This important international scientific event gathered more than 500 experts from around the world, confirming its position as one of the leading congresses in the field of reproductive medicine and women\u2019s health.<\/p>\n
The congress focused on improving knowledge and raising awareness about the preservation of reproductive health in women and the younger population, with special emphasis on contemporary methods of contraception and reproductive planning.<\/p>\n
Experts highlighted the importance of education about modern contraception, emphasizing that, contrary to common misconceptions, modern contraceptive methods do not threaten fertility. On the contrary, in the context of the global fertility crisis, adequate contraception plays an important role in preserving reproductive potential, enabling women to plan pregnancy and parenthood at the time they consider most appropriate.<\/p>\n
A significant recognition for Bosnian and Herzegovinian medicine was marked by the participation of Igor Hudi\u0107, Assistant Director for Medical Affairs at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, at the 18th ESC Congress of the European Society for Contraception and Reproductive Health in Belgrade.<\/p>\n
As an invited lecturer, Prof. Dr. Hudi\u0107 delivered a notable presentation entitled:\u201cChallenges of Sexual and Reproductive Health of Adolescents in the Balkan Countries.\u201d<\/p>\n
In his lecture, Professor Hudi\u0107 addressed the specific characteristics of the Balkan region, the social challenges faced by adolescents, and the need to develop new strategies tailored to young people in order to improve sexual and reproductive health education and care.<\/p>\n
According to Prof. Dr. Hudi\u0107, the congress represented an exceptionally important platform for scientific advancement, international exchange of knowledge, and the establishment of new standards in women\u2019s healthcare.<\/p>\n
The invitation extended to Prof. Dr. Igor Hudi\u0107 to participate at such a high scientific and professional level represents a significant acknowledgment of his expertise, scientific contribution, and continuous professional engagement.
