The Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla hosted an expert workshop titled \u201cBaby Handling and Motor Development During the First Year of Life.\u201d<\/p>\n
The educational event was jointly organized by the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Physiotherapy Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together healthcare professionals dedicated to pediatric rehabilitation and early intervention.<\/p>\n
The workshop was led by distinguished physiotherapist Ljuba Vidakovi\u0107 and the Head Physiotherapist of the Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, Mirela Begi\u0107, Master of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Through both theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations, the lecturers introduced participants to the key principles of early intervention and developmental support in infants.<\/p>\n
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of proper baby handling techniques, monitoring early motor development, and applying contemporary therapeutic approaches in working with infants during the earliest stages of growth and development.<\/p>\n
The workshop attracted significant interest from the professional community, gathering 30 participants from various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and provided an important opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the field of pediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
Among the participants were physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, and students, further highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to early intervention and pediatric rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
Assoc. Prof. Dr. \u0160ahza Kikanovi\u0107, Head of the Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, expressed great satisfaction with both the organization of the workshop and the active engagement of participants. \u201cThrough interactive work, professional discussions, and the intensive exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to significantly enhance their knowledge and practical skills in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and early intervention,\u201d emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kikanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
