Dr. Mirza Ati\u0107, Dr. Nedima Ati\u0107 and Dr. Amila Ja\u0161arevi\u0107 actively participated WoCoVa 2016 with two presentations “The use of ultrasound in determing the position of central venosus catheter for hemodialysis \u2013 flow signal\u201d-authors Ati\u0107, Tulumovi\u0107, Brki\u0107, Ja\u0161arevi\u0107, Me\u0161i\u0107, Ati\u0107 N, Ale\u010dkovic-Halilovi\u0107 M and “Tunneled central venosus catheter replacement trought the existing tunel without using a guide-wire method: Rewiev (Video)with case series”- authors Ati\u0107 M, Tulumovi\u0107, Ja\u0161arevi\u0107 , Me\u0161i\u0107, Ati\u0107, Hod\u017ei\u0107, Habul V, Trojak and Dugonji\u0107.The Congress covered an impressive 70 invited lectures, round tables and 6 sessions.<\/p>\n
Our specialists used an opportunity of this medical event to show a video presentation of a new methods in ultrasound diagnosis of the position of central venous catheter. The special attention was given to this presentation, that was a surprise for all participants in the session, and that gave a whole new view of the diagnostic possibilities. In an interesting discussion opened by the Chairmen of the session it was proposed to make comparative testing of electrocardiographic and x-ray as currently the most preferred methods and ultrasound method of the introduction of catheter.
