On 6 October, 2016, Ass. Prof. Fuad Pa\u0161i\u0107, coordinator for the development of bariatric (weight loss) surgery at the University Clinical Center Tuzla held a lecture entitled” Bariatric surgery at Clinical Center Tuzla- yesterday, today and tomorrow”. In his lecture, Dr Pa\u0161i\u0107 presented the most important segments in the development of surgical treatment of pathological obesity in our hospital.
\nHe also presented a multidisciplinary team for obesity management working on the diagnosis of pathological obesity, evaluation of accompanying comorbidities, surgery and post-operative monitoring. Dr Pa\u0161i\u0107 closed his lecture speaking about the idea of a personalized care in bariatric surgery both in Clinical Center Tuzla and in the wider medical community.
