In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the University Clinical Center Tuzla at the beginning of April made necessary suspension of activities and services at the Clinic for Skin Diseases and the Department for Neonatology, while the Clinic for Ear, Throat and Nose have worked to an reduced extent.
Introducing all recommended anti- epidemic measures achieved good results. The employees of above mentioned organizational units were tested for COVID-19 in self-isolaton, and after two negative test results they were returned to their jobs.
The team of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology made systematic and thorough disinfection of clinical areas, and all clinics are going to start to work according to the decision made earlier by the Federal Crisis Headquarters.
