The educational course of cardiac ultrasound has officially ended on Friday, 25 February 2022. The Clinic for Internal Medicine hosted certificate ceremony for this year’s course participants.
Course organizers were Sector for scientific- research work, University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Tuzla Canton Medical Chamber.
Prof. Dr. Harun Brkić, president of Medical Chamber on the occasion said that despite the unfavorable epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus organizers managed to maintain the planned number of educational courses important for continuing professional development of doctors.
Prof. Dr. Nermin Salkić, head of the Clinic for Internal Medicine and Prof. Dr. Zumreta Kušljugić, president of the Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia & Herzegovina also attended the ceremony. They congratulated the participants and wished them success in their future ultrasound diagnostics of the heart.
Before handing over certificates, the leader of this course Dr. Elnur Smajić, specialist in internal medicine said that all participants acquired necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skill and ability to safely and efficiently use cardiac ultrasound equipment, and to perform and interpret echocardiograms independently.
