In accordance to Article 45, paragraph 1, items 15 and 23 of the Statute of the Public Health Institution University Clinical Center Tuzla, at the proposal of the crisis management team of University Clinical Center Tuzla, and due to the improving epidemiological situation, the director put out the decision on mandatory PCR testing for SARS- Cov-2 for patients referred to the Public Health Institution University Clinical Center Tuzla, except for patients referred to COVID Department of the Clinic for Infectious diseases and Clinic for Lung Diseases with suspected COVID-19.
All patients referred for hospital admission are required to perform Covid- 19 antigen test that must not be older than 48 hours.
The University Clinical Center Tuzla will accept the results of tests issued by verified laboratories for SARS-CoV-2 serologic assays.
For patients from other cantons of the Federation BiH, RS and Brčko District who are referred to the University Clinical Center Tuzla the obligation of prior PCR testing remain until further notice, provided that only tests issued by verified laboratories for viral nucleid acid (RNA) isolation and the causal agent (Sars-Cov-2) detection to establish the diagnosis of Covid-19 will be accepted. In this case PCR test results must not be older than 96 hours.
Also, the decision to cancel Covid- 19 triage system and to withdraw measures related to the reduction of the elective program is brought. According to this the University Clinical Center Tuzla will provide a full capacity of services for its patients and clients.
The obligation to wear a face mask inside hospital premises is still mandatory for employees, health workers and patients.
