Yesterday, the representatives of the Association of Dialysis and Transplanted Patients in the Federation Bosnia and Herzegovina paid a visit to the University Clinical Center Tuzla. On that occasion they had a meeting with director Prof. Dr. Denijal Tulumović and the expert multidisciplinary transplant team.
The main discussion of the meeting was the improvement of the current transplant programs in order to ensure its performance quality and continuity in the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
In reaching the conclusion it was stated that the University Clinical Center Tuzla, as the leading transplant center in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has a highly skilled health professionals who are guided by humanity, ethics and enthusiasm dedicated in their work. The transplant team talked about a proposal to establish a more comprehensive transplant program that will benefit future patients. Also, it was suggested that following the meetings with authorities of the federal government level and other health care institutions, the coordination body for transplant medicine is to adopt a series of measures and regulations aimed at optimizing and improving the processes of donations and transplants.
