A mobile medical team from the University Clinical Center Tuzla is formed to respond to a powerful earthquake that struck the Republic of Türkiye and help the many injured.
Coordinator of a specially formed surgical team of doctors and nurses is Prof. Dr. Šekib Umihanić.
Prof. Dr. Umihanić said that the first team to respond consists of surgical specialists, but the team will be supplemented with other medical specialties according to the health needs following sudden- onset disasters.
The medical team is equipped with immobilization materials, infusion solutions, analgesia, antibiotics, anti- tetanus protection and warming aids.
