Yesterday, world- renowned experts in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmeck and Dr. Susanne Schlüter-Müller paid a visit to the Clinic for Psychiatry, University Clinical Center Tuzla. Our guests hosted the head of the Clinic for Psychiatry Ass. Prof. Nerminka Aljukić and medical director Assoc. Prof. Igor Hudić. The representatives of Mental Health Foundation “Good Mental Health for All” Prof. Dr. Izet Pajević and Prof. Dr. Mevludin Hasanović joined the meeting.
For quite some time now, Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmeck and Dr. Susanne Schlüter-Müller have actively supported and participated in the implementation of the reconstruction and adaptation project of the Department for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with the aim to ensure all children and youth have access to comprehensive and quality mental health care.
During the meeting Dr. Nerminka Aljukić gave a review on the project progress and thanked our guests for their generous engagement and commitment to cooperation on the project. She also used the opportunity to thank the management of the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the Government of the Tuzla Canton for their unwavering assistance and support.
Medical director Assoc. Prof. Igor Hudić on the occasion said that our proven friends from Germany will try to help additionally by applying for projects through the EU funds, to provide funds much needed to compete all reconstruction works on the entire building in due time, and make our project a success.
