Prim. Dr. Anto Jurić passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 72.
He devoted his career to the Živinice Health Center and the Clinic for Internal Diseases of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, where he worked in the Department of Cardiology and served as Head of the Department for Intensive Therapy and Care.
Dr. Jurić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo on March 31, 1982. He became a specialist in internal medicine in 1987, and on November 27, 1998, completed his subspecialization in cardiology in Belgrade. He was awarded the professional title of Primarius on April 7, 2000. From April 30, 1999, until June 30, 2009, he led the Intensive Care Department of the Clinic for Internal Diseases.
He retired on August 21, 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Živinice Community Center.
The final farewell will take place the same day at the City Cemetery in Živinice, with condolences from 3:00 PM and the funeral at 4:00 PM.
Colleagues and associates will remember Dr. Jurić for his humanity, professionalism, collegiality, and unwavering care for patients.
