On May 27, 2016, the representatives of the World Bank and Federal Ministry of Health visited the University Clinical Center Tuzla. The reason for the meeting with the hospital management team were preparatory activities for a potential new project in the health sector, gathering feedback on the priorities for health sector, and e- health system assessment at . The guests received Medical director Prof. Dr. Fahrija Skokić with her associates.
During the meeting, Sabina Tanović, director of Sector for financial affairs expressed her satisfaction for the guests’ interest in the University Clinical Center Tuzla and presented the basic parameters of hospital financial operations, as well as the conditions and specifics that affect hospital’s financial performance.
The representative of the World Bank Dr. Nedim Jaganjac highlighted the importance of new ways to finance health care, through which to offer systemic solutions for the initial difficulties and the financial management system reform.
The representative of the Federal Ministry of Health Vildana Doder spoke about the importance of healthcare informatization. About the project of complete informatization at the University Clinical Center Tuzla and the results achieved in this segment spoke Nihad Mešanović, Ass. Prof. of electrical engineering.
