The University Clinical Center Tuzla received a valuable donation that includes 40 electric hospital beds with anti- decubitus mattresses. Provider of the donation is the European Union within the program of financial assistance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the UNDP BiH was in charge of its implementation.
The beds are placed in the Department of Nephrology, Hemodialysis and Transplantation, Clinic for Internal Medicine. The donation is very useful because donated multifunctional beds ensures a spontaneous support for treatments and preventives in the healthcare settings, therefore contribute to a more comfortable stay for bedridden patients and patients who are connected to dialysis machine 24 hours.
